Vamos VS BTK
In a high-stakes Round 5 showdown of the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang M6 Swiss Stage, Team Vamos delivered a flawless performance, sweeping BloodThirstyKings (BTK) 2-0 to secure their spot in the Knockout Stage. This victory not only ensures Malaysia’s continued presence in the tournament but also silences doubters, including BTK’s star jungler Mobazane, who had previously dismissed Malaysia’s server as “easy” following North America’s triumph over Malaysia in M5.
Led by their standout jungler Chibi, the Malaysian squad showcased superior strategy and execution, dismantling BTK’s defenses in both games.Sending BTK back home to North America clears a significant obstacle for Vamos, positioning them as a serious contender in the M6 World Championship.
After two matches today, Team Vamos showcased significant improvements by learning from their previous mistakes. They came out swinging, adopting a hyper-aggressive strategy ensured that BTK’s carries were consistently shut down, sealing the 2-0 sweep.
Ensuring Malaysia’s Legacy in M6
This victory is crucial for Team Vamos, who have their sights set on finishing in the top 3 of the M-Series, a feat that would cement their legacy in Malaysian esports history. Their journey, however, is far from over, as they will face tougher opponents in the Knockout Stage, scheduled to begin on December 7, 2024.
While Vamos basks in their victory, Malaysia’s hopes also rest on another team: Selangor Red Giants (SRG). The Red Giants are gearing up for their own do-or-die match, where a win would also secure their place in the Knockout Stage. A double representation from Malaysia would be a historic moment, and fans across the country are rallying behind both teams.
