MPL Malaysia S17 Enters Playoffs With EWC Dreams on the Line
The road to international Mobile Legends glory is heating up as MPL Malaysia S17 officially enters its Playoffs stage. After eight intense weeks of battles, rivalries, and unforgettable moments, six of Malaysia’s strongest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang teams are now preparing for the biggest showdown of the season.
Selangor Red Giants, Invictus Gaming, Team Vamos, RRQ Tora, Team Rey, and Bigetron MY by VIT have secured their places in the MPL Malaysia S17 Playoffs. But this time, the stakes are much bigger than just lifting the Immortal Cup. A path toward the Esports World Cup is now within reach, turning every Playoff match into a must watch battle for MLBB fans around the world.
The competition throughout the Regular Season delivered nonstop action as teams fought for survival and dominance in one of Southeast Asia’s most competitive MLBB leagues. Now, only six remain.
Six Teams Survive the MPL Malaysia S17 Gauntlet
Week 8 closed the Regular Season in dramatic fashion. Bigetron MY by VIT emerged as one of the standout performers of the final week. Led by Mid Laner Cikugais, the team secured convincing victories against Team Flash and Invictus Gaming, proving they are entering the Playoffs with serious momentum.
RRQ Tora also locked in their Playoffs spot after surviving the final stretch of competition. Meanwhile, AC Esports narrowly missed qualification despite ending their campaign strongly with a dominant sweep over RRQ Tora powered by Aeronshikki’s signature Clint pick.
Defending kings Selangor Red Giants continued to show why they remain the team to beat in MPL Malaysia S17. Their commanding victory against Team Rey helped them finish the Regular Season on a high note as they continue chasing an incredible fifth consecutive MPL Malaysia championship.
For Team Flash, the season came to a disappointing conclusion after failing to secure a win during the final week. The team will now regroup and aim for a stronger comeback next season.
Esports World Cup Dreams Become Reality
